      The Tiger encounter

      Hi Everyone !
Las Cuevas was a good check out dive, plenty of whitetip sharks into the caves. The next morning the bottle-nose dolphins were waiting for us at The Boiler to play with us, at least 12 of them, and 3 chevron mantas and 1 black manta as well. The mantas were around all day!! At El Cañon was good to find a gorgeous manta playing around the cleaning stations and the first tiger shark of the trip showed up, a big one of no less than 4 m/ 12 ft.

El Pariente’s Rock was the next dive site and at the very beginning of the dive a big fat tiger shark was at the edge of the reef at the 100 ft /30 m an another one pass later, in the blue we found schooling hammerheads and when we come back to the reef, 2 chevron mantas  comes to stay and they been around the divers, playing and circling and enjoying the divers bubbles at their belly. After dinner we head to Roca Partida, and once there was absolutely amazing to watch big pelagics within the rock. A massive yellow fin tuna was circling around the northern corner in between big schools of cottonmouth jacks, big eye jacks, amberjacks and plus this we have big Galapagos sharks around, silvertips sharks.

The second day in Roca Partida brought us more fun when we went down at north a baby whale shark of 4 M / 12 ft was there and everybody saw it until it disappear in the blue to come back to the eastern side and after turning all around the site, we found it at South. Finished the last dive the whale shark was close to the vessel and all the divers were snorkeling with it.Everybody was happy to stay one more day in Roca ,then we enter in the water for more action and fun and we weren’t disappointed at all!! We had more yellow-fin tunas , 4 silvertips and Galapagos sharks, huge school of bonitos, a baitball of mackerels and a a big school of hammerheads around the southern corner… a little bit outside and in the blue.

Socorro Island was the next stop and in Cabo Pearce a Chevron manta was in the zone and a big tiger shark of 4m / 12 ft was there. We then came back to San Benedicto Island and el Pariente’s Rock showed itself as top new dive site where we found more chevron mantas (2), a tiger shark of 3 m/ 9 ft pass in front of us and bigger one of 4 m/ 12 ft was deeper. We also had a school of 30 hammerheads comes from the blue!!

At the Boiler we found 2 mantas Chevron at the east and for the last dive the Mantas comes from the blue to say goodbye. See you soon!
