The trip started and ended at the island of San Benedicto. Two days were at El Cañon where the site was teeming with life. Black mantas, chevron mantas, dolphins, schooling hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, silvertips, blacktips, whitetip reef sharks, and even a tiger were all seen here! Another two days were at El Boiler where every dive had at least three or four mantas which circled the groups endlessly. Hammerheads and Galapagos occasionally faded in and out of the blue throughout the days here as well. Two days were spent at Roca Partida where the currents were strong, but rewarding. There was 30m/100ft of visibility, several schools of hammerheads, a plethora of whitetip reef sharks, a handful of Galapagos and silky sharks, and a juvenile whale shark all showed up to circle the rock! One day was spent at the island of Socorro and the dive site Cabo Pearce. There was limited visibility of 15m/50ft, but a school of hammerheads were clearly visible hanging at the edge of the reef. Whitetip reef sharks could be found lounging around the site, plus three dolphins and a manta were also sighted.
