Dive Report Trip N° 4 ( August 16th -20th )

Hello you all

Another amazing trip to Guadalupe Island , sanctuary of the Great White Shark!

Was amazing to watch these massive sharks breaching to catch the bait while facing the wranglers at a short distance. They were around us at all the time, at the surface, circling the submersible cage, 4 of them at the same time swimming around and doing vertical attacks to the bait in the surface. One of the sharks was huge, 4 m/ 12 ft in length and a massive body, and two others shark swimming together. This took place during 74 minutes! It was absolutely amazing!

Then two Dolphins showed up and they disturb a little bit a Great white, which reacted a little bit late and swam after them.

At the surface a baby sea lion was swimming further away from the shore, and then a Great White chased him. At first the water was calm, when suddenly we saw a Great white Shark tail moving and the sea lion disappear and never came back. It was just a reminder that this is the real thing and that in the Guadalupe waters the Great White is definitely the apex predator.

We can say that we watched a least 10 different Sharks of 3 m / 9 ft to 4 m /12ft and they were very aggressive until the last day, catching the bait, breaching, swimming fast right in front of the cages at the surface, lost juveniles very curious! The action was AMAZING!

A wonderful experience for all of us! See you next trip!
