20% will be charged if cancelled 366 days prior to the embarkation date;
25% will be charged if cancelled 181 days prior to the embarkation date;
50% will be charged if cancelled 61 days prior to the embarkation date;
100% will be charged if cancelled 60 days prior to the embarkation date

***Terms and Conditions*** >Payment Policy < Bank fees ———– Please add to your payment any bank fees you may pay due to wire transfer. Booking conditions for Individuals: ———————– A 25% deposit must be made according to the payment plan to confirm the booking. An additional 25% is due 6 months prior to the trip date. The remaining balance is due 2 months (60 Days) prior to the trip. Marine Park Fees are due 14 days prior to the trip. Booking conditions for Groups (Half & Full Charter): —————————————– *For bookings made more than 1 year before the trip: A $5,000 non-refundable deposit is due to hold the reservation. An additional 25% of the trip price is due 1 year prior to travel. A further 25% is due 6 months prior to travel. The balance minus commissions is due 3 months (90 days) prior to travel. – Marine Park Fees are due 14 days prior to the trip. *For bookings made less than 1 year before the trip: -A $5,000 non-refundable deposit is due to hold the reservation. -An additional 25% of the trip price is due 9 months (270 days) prior to travel. -A further 25% is due 6 months prior to travel. -The balance minus commissions is due 3 months (90 days) prior to travel. -Marine Park Fees are due 14 days prior to the trip. Note: We reserve the right to release your reservation without compensation or refund if the final balance is not paid before the due date. >Cancellation Policy < Terms for Individuals: ———————– -Cancellations more than one year prior to departure date: Client forfeits 20% of trip cost -Cancellations between 181-365 days prior to departure date: Client forfeits 25% of trip cost -Cancellations between 60-180 days prior to departure date: Client forfeits 50% of trip cost -Cancellations within 60 days of departure date: Client forfeits 100% of trip cost Terms for Groups (Half Charter or Full Charter): ————————————————– Booking made more than one year in advance: -Cancellation more than one year prior to departure date: The reservation can be reduced to one paying customer, which will result in a reduction and/ or loss of free space(s), OR the reservation can be canceled in full, which will result in a loss of the deposit. -Cancellations between 181 to 365 days prior to departure date Group forfeits 25% of trip cost. -Cancellations between 91-180 days prior to departure date: Group forfeits 50% of trip cost -Cancellations 90 days or less to the trip date: Group forfeits 100% of trip cost Booking made less than one year prior to departure date: -Cancellation between 271-364 days prior to departure date: The reservation can be reduced to one paying customer, which will result in a loss of free space(s), OR the reservation can be canceled in full, which will result in a loss of the deposit. -Cancellations between 181 to 270 days prior to departure date Group forfeits 25% of trip cost. -Cancellations between 91-180 days prior to departure date: Group forfeits 50% of trip cost -Cancellations 90 days or less to the trip date: Group forfeits 100% of trip cost Reschedule Policy: ——————– Industrias Solmar SA de CV and its affiliated companies reserves the right to reschedule and/or cancel any trip at any time for any reason it deems necessary. In the event of such rescheduling or cancellation the following will apply: – We will work closely with you to assist in getting coverage through your insurance company. – We will reschedule your trip to any requested date if there is availability. If you do not have a specific date then we will issue a credit for the amount paid that can be used on a future trip. – Should a guest need to reschedule, options including transference of cabin to another individual for the same trip date, or a reschedule of the guest themselves, will be reviewed. Options will vary based on nearness of the departure date. Reschedules may be charged a $100 administrative fee. Travel and Trip Cancellation & Interruption Insurance ——————————————————– Travel and Trip cancellation & interruption Insurance is mandatory. Expenses not associated with Industrias Solmar SA de CV cannot be claimed from Industrias Solmar SA de CV in any given scenario. Trip cancellation and interruption insurance needs to cover the trip costs and all expenses associated and not associated with Industrias Solmar SA de CV. Trip cancellation & interruption insurance needs to cover any expenses incurred if a trip needs to be cut short or canceled for any reasons. If guests fail to comply with the above in any way or the coverage is not enough to cover any of the above, guests cannot hold Industrias SolmarV, SA de CV , SolmarV LLC, and/ or any other affiliated entity free liable. Travel insurance can be purchased from us through DiveAssure, our preferred partner, by following this link. Medical Dive Insurance policy ——————————– Diving in a remote place such as the Archipiélago de Revillagigedo, safe diving is critical. For the unlikely event of medical evacuation we require all our guests to have a dive insurance that covers unlimited scuba diving, treatment in the hyperbaric chamber and most importantly air evacuation. Boarding will be denied if our guests fail to show adequate proof of insurance coverage and no refund will be issued. Dive insurance can be purchased from us through DiveAssure, our preferred partner, by following this link. Force Majeure —————- It is our highest priority to ensure our guests have a smooth and enjoyable trip on our boats, however unforeseen changes or cancellations can occur. Given the above that all guests and clients are required to have medical and trip/travel insurance that covers all expenses associated and not associated with Industrias SolmarV, SA de C.V. and its affiliated entities, by the act of boarding any of the vessels operated by Industrias SolmarV, S.A de C.V. or its affiliated entities, guests and clients agree and accept that no refund or credit will be issued in the event of itinerary changes, weather changes, mechanical breakdown, governmental orders, port authority directions or any other factors by which the corresponding captain of the vessel or any representative of Industrias SolmarV, S.A. de C.V. cancels, shortens and changes any part or in total any trip, voyage or expedition. Pandemic Policy ——————- Safety and Health is our main concern for our guests and crew. If deemed necessary, we can enforce boarding only with a negative test result. Changes of our pandemic policy may incur showing proof of vaccination or other necessary measurements. Paperwork ———— All our guests are asked to complete their paperwork at least 30 days prior to the trip dates. To ensure our boat sails as planned we need to comply with the port authorities and turn in relevant information at least 1 day prior to the departure. Boarding may be refused if guests do not comply. Our team will ensure that paperwork is completed on time and assist if problems occur. Special & Dietary Requests —————————- We pride ourselves to cater to all dietary needs and requests. To guarantee specific dietary needs or special requests are met, they must be entered in the guest form at least 30 days prior to the trip. Please note that not all or specific products are available in Mexico, however we will do our best to cater to our guests needs and requests. Enriched Air – Nitrox ———————- We believe diving with Nitrox increases not just the dive experience with extended bottom time, but makes additional (repetitive) diving safer. Unlimited Nitrox is included in your trip costs. From November 2023 onwards all guests need to be Nitrox certified. For our guests not yet certified, we offer assistance with PADI e-learning and completion on board or offer the full course on board. Marine Park Fees —————— The Marine Park Fees need to be paid prior to the trip and are subject to change. The amount is not set by Industrias Solmar SA de CV and may change at any given time by the authorities. The fee imposed is based on the number of days you are physically in the park. We are happy to assist our guests in applying for a waiver or discount but cannot guarantee the request will be granted.
